In business since 1978, our staff is highly trained in general office support services, computer programs, and in proper telephone/office etiquette as well as having an excellent understanding of what is important to the back-office operations and client communications of businesses in the metropolitan area. We have the expertise to cover a wide variety of business tasks, including:

- court filings, legal research

The Work Place was formed as a sole proprietorship in 1978 in Sturgis, Michigan by Nancy Sherman watching was working on her Master’s in counseling and her Ph.D. in sociology. The management of The Work Place targeted several niche markets such a small businesses that needed help on a regular basis to maintain their office support; larger companies (both private sector and governmental) that needed overflowing specific job help; and associations that needed help with producing conference materials as well as transcripts of the conferences themselves. Eventually, the office expanded to include executive suites and telephone answering services. As The Work Place has grown, so have the services provided. Now included in the services are professional skilled in writing, and focuses much of their attention on the legal arena. Ms. Sherman has also in recent years obtained a registration as a Private Investigator and so understands well the needs of the legal industry..
Ms. Sherman has had years of writing experience, both in school and in the workplace. She has been certified by Brainbench Corp. as a Master Editor. She and her staff of editors have in-depth knowledge of many issues which enable them to quickly understand the needs and goals of the various client organizations.
TWP understands and respects the expectations that clients have for service quality.
